Created CSS layout from graphic designer mock ups. Worked with a team of programmers developing this web 2.0 site using Mercurial to manage our PHP coding. Setup ad server.

Developed web pages for one of the largest dating services in the country. Worked
with a team of graphic designers, Perl programmers and QA producing web-site
update on a bi-weekly basis for our user base.

2005 – 2006 Business Owner
The Thumbtack Bugle, San Francisco, CA

Started a business (sfhandbills) with a partner, advertising companies throughout the Bay Area. Our successes led us to acquire the oldest and largest postering company in the Bay Area called The Thumbtack Bugle. Managed half of the business daily operations and handled all web development, marketing and sales. Oversaw employees for outdoor advertising events such as Mac World.

Worked with the design team, transferring print material to web. Developed web pages with XHTML and CSS 2.1 to provide maximum cross browser compatibility. Managed multiple LAMP servers and client hosting solutions. Developed Flash, ASP and PHP tools for websites.

Installed and managed Mandrake based web server. Developed and created a web application for connecting carpet suppliers with property owners. System included user-management, WSYWIG to update content, order transaction, interfaced with Mysql database.

Conceptualized and programmed WebCMS, a course management system for on-line training, using PHP, Mysql and Unix servers. Developed email system, file management controls, visual html editor, and user management system. Designed and implemented a streamlined billing system for employees of Outlook Interactive. Supervised programming team. Used FlashMX and Flashcom video server to present faculty presentations and video conferencing.

1998 - 1999 Multimedia Developer
Digital Creators, Boulder, CO

Programmed interactive courseware for an industry leader. Developed interactive multimedia. Created multimedia websites and generated a word doc parser in PERL.

1998 – 1998 Manger of Information Systems (MIS)

Managed the MIS department. Maintained, updated, and troubleshoot systems. Supported 6 Macs and 15 PC computers on a Novell network. Established security on the network. Utilized Mercury Internet Gateway, FTP sever, and BBS. Operated double byte Windows 95, 98, and Apple Language Kits. Upgraded systems to OS 8.1. Migrated Novell 3.21 over to NT 4.0. Developed classes and introduced staff to multi-language systems. Created procedures for all aspects of the MIS department and language conversion issues.
